What is peripheral neuropathy and how will taking CBD oils support its treatment? The risk of neuropathy increases with age and it is estimated that up to 10% patients over 55 years of age may be affected.<\/p>\n<div style=\"\">\n<div style=\"\">\n<div style=\"\"><span style=\"background-color: initial; font-size: 36px;\"><font color=\"#275c53\" face=\"Jost, serif\"><b>Causes and symptoms of neuropathy<\/b><\/font><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"\"><span style=\"background-color: initial; color: var(--black); font-family: var(--font-main),sans-serif; letter-spacing: var(--font-main-letterspacing);\">&nbsp;<\/span><br><\/div>\n<div style=\"\">\n<div style=\"\">\n<div style=\"\">\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The causes of peripheral neuropathy can be very varied, with the main ones standing out among them:<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Working in the same position for a long time<\/b>, e.g. in a crouch or on your knees,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Pressure<\/b> caused, for example, by a plaster cast worn too tightly, anatomical defects (e.g., carpal tunnel) or pressure from a tumour on a nerve,&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Injury<\/b> resulting from an accident, gunshot wounds, broken bones or complications after surgical procedures,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Infection with viruses and bacteria or ischaemia<\/b>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Complications of certain diseases<\/b>, such as uremia, diabetes, HIV or Lyme disease,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Side effects of medication taken<\/b>such as isoniazid, used to treat tuberculosis, or phenytoin, an anti-epileptic drug,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Alcohol abuse<\/b>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Taking excessive doses of medication<\/b>such as B vitamins, especially B6,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Chemical poisoning<\/b>emissions, e.g. lead in paint production and the metal industry, arsenic, e.g. in the production of plant protection products, or thallium, e.g. in the production of rat poison.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Peripheral neuropathy carries a range of different symptoms. Not always, but quite often neuropathy is accompanied by inflammation, which causes further symptoms. <b>We will therefore focus on the most common ones:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Tingling sensations occurring in different parts of the body,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Numbness and helplessness, often of the hands<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Pain in the peripheral parts of the limbs,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Paresthesias,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Muscle atrophy,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Paresis,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Neuropathic pain,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Baking,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Sexual dysfunction,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Proprioceptive sensory disturbances, for example, can result in clumsiness when moving and even falls, which in the case of older people can have serious consequences in terms of fractures,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Urinary incontinence.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"\"><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-main),sans-serif; letter-spacing: var(--font-main-letterspacing); background-color: initial; color: var(--black);\">&nbsp;<\/span><br><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"\">\n<p style=\"\"><span style=\"background-color: initial; font-size: 36px;\"><font color=\"#275c53\" face=\"Jost, serif\"><b>Course of treatment of peripheral neuropathy<\/b><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Treatment of peripheral neuropathy can be carried out by conventional methods, but natural medicine can also be relied upon. <b>There is also nothing to prevent the methods of treatment being combined and supporting rehabilitation and medication with natural preparations, such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hempmont.pl\/en\/kategoria-produktu\/olejki-cbd\/\" target=\"_blank\">CBD oils<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As with most diseases, the treatment of neuropathy largely depends on the stage of the disease. That is, the earlier it is detected, the better the chances of a cure. Late diagnosis means, unfortunately, a decreasing chance of stopping the progression of the disease, and the treatment of peripheral neuropathy is mainly reduced to symptom relief.
